MUSEO DEI CAMPIONISSIMI

NOVI LIGURE (AL)
included
From the land of the "Campionissimi" of the pedal, Costante Girardengo and Fausto Coppi, the greatest homage to the history of cycling and the bicycle: a Museum with over 3,000 square metres to relive the myths of a sport together with its protagonists of yesterday and today.

Italy's largest cycling museum comes to life inside a disused industrial site, skilfully renovated to allow for a fluid, rewarding and customisable visit. A long central track visually narrates the history of the bicycle through the exhibition of important pieces, from the "draisina" to the latest titanium prototypes, all displayed on a floor that changes, along with the technology, progressively evolving from dirt to steel. On both sides of the track there are a series of display platforms through which it is possible to delve into the history of components, while on the sides of the platforms and track, dividing the central aisle from the two lateral ones, the history of heroic and modern cycling through the bicycles that belonged to the champions of this sport and 4 multimedia totems that allow the first level of in-depth and personalised visit.
