Over time it became a place of meeting and culture, with a dock, artificial grottoes and a noble salon overlooking the lake. Today it is a venue for events and civil weddings. The garden, with rare trees such as the cork oak, can be visited free of charge. A place rich in history, immersed in the scenic beauty of Verbania Pallanza.
Villa Giulia is a historic residence on Lake Maggiore, linked to the Branca family, well-known producers of Fernet. Purchased in 1880 by Giuseppe Branca and dedicated to his wife, it was transformed with taste and refinement: the garden was extended to the shore, the villa enlarged and enriched with artificial grottoes, terraces, loggias and a dock.
In the 20th century, the villa became the Municipal Casino and later the seat of public offices, while retaining its original elegance. Today it is municipal property and hosts events, exhibitions and civil weddings. The park, with rare trees and a striking cork oak, is open to the public. An example of 19th-century architecture and landscaping, immersed in the setting of Verbania Pallanza.
