Triennale Milano is an international institution of excellence that integrates the different languages of contemporary culture. Based in the historic Palazzo dell'Arte - a modular and flexible building designed in 1933 - the facility houses a theatre and the Museum of Italian Design, whose permanent collection boasts 1,600 of the sector's most iconic and representative pieces.

Triennale Milan is an international cultural hub where contemporary languages converge: from design to architecture, from visual arts to performing arts. A veritable laboratory of confrontation between creativity and technology, the institution explores the boundary between tradition and innovation through the works of the greatest global designers and artists.

Based in the historic Palace of Art - rationalist masterpiece signed by Giovanni Muzio in 1933 - the Triennale hosts a Theatre multidisciplinary vocation and the Italian Design Museum. The latter, renovated in 2023, houses a permanent collection of 1,600 icons that have written the history of Made in Italy. Every three years, the institution reaffirms its central role in the global public debate by organising the’International Exhibition, an indispensable point of reference for the design world.
