TAM – Spazio multimediale sul Tardo Antico e il Medioevo Novarese

The TAM multimedia space narrates periods of transition between old and new rulers by means of video projections, models, touch screens and tablets, using the testimony of three virtual characters (a Roman woman, a deacon and a Lombard warrior) that involve the visitor in an informal approach designed to explore aspects of daily life, religious rites and customs from Prehistory to the Middle Ages. An integral part of the TAM exhibition itinerary is also the Romanesque baptistery of San Giovanni with its immersive video projection 'Acqua di vita' (Water of life), which deals with the theme of water, its centrality in the religious rites of different cultures and in particular in Catholic baptism; the restoration of the Romanesque bell tower of the Church of Santa Maria Assunta is also very recent.
