The natural heritage consists of the Ivrea Morainic Amphitheatre: a geological monument unique in the world, on which the Eco-museum has carried out and continues to carry out, in collaboration with the University of Turin, research and dissemination work that has led to the creation of the Caravino Glacier Footprint Eco-museum. The material and immaterial cultural heritage, to which the Ecomuseum has so far focused, is instead made up of small museum cells organised in the AMI Museum Network and the medieval churches scattered throughout the territory that make up the AMI Romanesque Churches circuit. In addition, the Ecomuseum flanks these projects with a variety of activities such as studies and research, nature and cultural excursions, exhibitions and events, meetings with the population and conferences.
