Quadreria Crivelli
Trezzo sull'Adda (MI)
included The Quadreria Crivelli is a collection of art influenced by the classicist and Risorgimento sympathies of the nobleman Vitaliano Crivelli, a patriot and patron of the arts who used to holiday in the 19th century at the present-day 'Alessandro Manzoni' library in Trezzo sull'Adda, where his collection was reorganised into a museum in 2014.
The Crivelli Picture Gallery is located in the rooms of the Villa Comunale, home of the 'Alessandro Manzoni' Library. It is a significant collection of paintings, prints, furniture and objects restored to their former beauty thanks to the restoration work they underwent. It constitutes what remains of a centuries-old collection, which involved members of one of the most important families of the Milanese nobility, the Crivellis.
