The Società Promotrice delle Belle Arti was founded in 1842 with the aim of promoting the art and artists of the day in Turin through exhibitions of their works. Since 1914 it has been based in the exhibition pavilion in Via Crivelli, inside the Valentino Park, currently used for temporary exhibitions.
