The Pinacoteca Agnelli, under the leadership of the new director Sarah Cosulich, is transformed into a dynamic centre open to the multidisciplinary languages of the present in dialogue with the institution's historic collection. The new Pinacoteca is a place dedicated to the production of new exhibitions and site-specific projects commissioned from artists.

Through research exhibition projects and collaborations with Italian and international institutions, Pinacoteca becomes a place open to reflection on contemporary issues, devoted to inclusion and participation of different audiences also thanks to the expansion of programming to the spaces of the Pista 500 on the roof of the Lingotto.
The exhibition programme consists of three project lines, articulated according to an organic curatorial perspective. The common starting point is the reflection on the narratives produced by Lingotto's industrial heritage and the museum's identity, which is strongly linked to its permanent collection.
Twenty years after the inauguration of Renzo Piano's Casket, for the first time Pinacoteca introduces an exhibition project dedicated to the reactivation of its permanent collection, starting from a reflection on its presences and absences. Starting each time from a different work placed in relation with others from international institutions, the Agnelli Collection becomes a privileged starting point for a reflection on art history and historiography, as well as a critical tool for approaching the present.
Pinacoteca's temporary exhibition programme focuses on projects conceived and produced by Pinacoteca specifically for its spaces. The projects include both monographic exhibitions dedicated to contemporary artists and collective exhibitions focused on trans-historical and multi-generational paths.
The new Pinacoteca programme also extends to the iconic Lingotto rooftop race track. The historic runway used by the FIAT factory for testing cars is opened to the public for the first time through a project of art installations
