PALAZZO FERRERO
includedPalazzo Ferrero was built between the 15th and 16th centuries by the Ferrero family, and was once the residence of the Ferrero Fieschi family of Masserano. When the branch of the Princes of Masserano died out in 1831, the Palace was inherited by the La Marmora family: it was rented and used in various ways, from offices of the intendancy to a fabric factory and dye works. In 1864, the Palazzo was brought to new splendour, becoming a prestigious hydrotherapy centre. Since March 2017 the management has been entrusted to the Temporary Association of Purpose "Palazzo Ferrero - Miscele Culturali", which, in collaboration with numerous subjects in the area, organises temporary exhibitions and cultural events in synergy with Palazzo La Marmora and Palazzo Gromo Losa, with the aim of creating a cultural pole in the heart of the Piazzo village.
