MUSEO PAVESIANO – FONDAZIONE CESARE PAVESE
includedLocated in Santo Stefano Belbo, in the picturesque setting of the Langhe, the Museo Pavesiano offers an in-depth perspective on the life and production of Cesare Pavese. Thanks to the activity of the Cesare Pavese Foundation, the museum combines the exhibition of personal objects and rare texts with modern multimedia installations.
Focal point of the visit is the Dialogue Hall, which houses the most significant testimony of Pavia's legacy: the volume of the Dialogues with Leucò on which the author stamped his farewell. The cultural offer is further enriched by the Molina and Vaudagna collections: a collection of letters and annotated volumes documenting Pavese's tireless work as a translator and anglist. The exhibition concludes by celebrating the relationship between the writer and his roots in the section dedicated to Pinolo Scaglione (Nuto), where letters and autograph dedications seal the eternal link between biographical reality and literary fiction.
