Ethnographic Museum
MUSEO ETNOGRAFICO GAMBARINA
includedOn the ground floor there is a evocative and immersive journey which, enhancing the span architecture of the former stables, accompanies visitors on a journey of discovery through the highlights of public and private life in rural society between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The different “Windows onto the past” reconstruct scenes and settings related to birth, to the childhood games, to the school, to the domestic life – from the kitchen to the bedroom –, to the trousseau room until wedding ceremony. Particular attention is paid to dramatic impact of the two World Wars, recounted through dedicated materials and testimonies.
On the upper floor, you can admire the reconstruction of a classroom from the 1930s and visit the library, which preserves volumes dating back to the early decades of the nineteenth century.
The Museum also stands out for its wide range of cultural activities and events aimed at different audiences. To stay up to date on upcoming initiatives, please follow the page. Official Facebook page.
