MUSEO DELLA PLASTICA CANNON-SANDRETTO

Pont Canavese (TO)
included
The Museum of the Civilisation of Plastics, inside the elegant Art Nouveau building of the former Sandretto factory in Pont Canavese, exhibits the history and technology of plastics processing on two floors. Inaugurated in 1995, it houses more than 2,500 items collected with passion by Gilberto Sandretto. From hand-painted calendars by Stefano Risso to objects narrating two centuries of plastic evolution, the museum reminds us of the profound impact of this material on our lives.

The Museum Centre was reborn in 2016, after extensive renovation work, and is still growing. It includes the Textile Manufacturing Museum, the Cav. Modesto Sandretto collection of machine tools and the Museum of Plastics.

The Cannon-Sandretto Plastics Museum 'Civilisation of Plastics' is housed in the Art Nouveau building of the former Sandretto factory now owned by the Cannon Group.
