MUSEO DEL NOVECENTO
includedThe Museum of the 20th century, hosted in the Arengario Palace, exhibits to the public about four hundred works selected from the almost four thousand belonging to the Milan Civic Art Collections, dedicated to the’20th century Italian art.
Part of the heritage can also be seen at the Boschi Di Stefano House Museum, which preserves an important core of the donation by collectors Antonio Boschi and Marieda Di Stefano.
Inaugurated in December 2010, the Museo del Novecento was created with the intention of permanently present an itinerary dedicated to 20th century Italian painting and sculpture, offering an organic and in-depth view of the artistic evolution of the century.
The Museum gives back to citizens their own collections and pays tribute to those collectors, gallery owners and institutions who, over the course of more than a century, have contributed to forming one of the most important Italian art collections of the 20th century, testimony to one of the periods most creative and fertile cities in Milan.
