MUSEO DEL GRANDE TORINO E DELLA LEGGENDA GRANATA

Grugliasco (TO)
included
The Museum of the Grande Torino and the Granata Legend was created and is run only by volunteers. It exhibits only original pieces of Granata history, from 1906 to the present day. A treasure chest of inestimable value that you are sooner invited to visit than to describe. We are waiting for you!

The Museo del Grande Torino e della Leggenda Granata was founded on 4 May 2002, in Superga. In May 2008, it moved to Grugliasco, at Villa Claretta Assandri, and with 650 square metres at its disposal, tells the Granata story from its birth to the present day.

On display in the prestigious premises are around four hundred original photos, one thousand objects and a hundred documents.

From the first newspaper of December 1906, we come to the shirts of the present day, passing through unique artefacts such as the wheel and propeller of the Superga plane, the wooden grandstand of the Filadelfia, the dressing room used from 17 October 1926, the inauguration of the Filadelfia, until 30 June 1994, Gigi Meroni's Balilla, Oreste Bolmida's cornet, the Filadelfia's trumpeter, Orfeo Pianelli's lucky charm pinstripe, up to the last acquisition in order of time, the 1943 Coppa Italia, won by Grande Torino, who in the same season also won the Scudetto, the first Italian team to achieve the couplet.
