The Cycling Museum stands on the Ghisallo Pass, one of the most famous places for cyclists from all over the world. Next to it is the Sanctuary of the Madonna, protector of cyclists since 1949. Inaugurated in 2006, the museum aims to preserve and enhance the world of two wheels, with more than 1,500 items of memorabilia, including bicycles, jerseys and various racing objects.

Dedicated to the men and women who, with the bicycle, have marked the history of cycling, in sporting competitions and in everyday life, the museum was created with the aim of preserving and raising awareness of the world of two wheels: the athletes, the manufacturers of the means of transport, the organisers, the company directors, the journalists and other figures, perhaps less well known, but strongly linked to this sport.
Of great pride is the collection of jerseys, more than two hundred, from numerous national and international competitions. These include more than 50 pink jerseys, a unique collection made in collaboration with Gazzetta dello Sport, with the aim of finding a jersey for every edition of the Giro d'Italia.
The exhibition of bicycles is designed in such a way as to ensure that the visitor is not only informed from a racing point of view, but also highlights the technological evolution of the bicycle. Since 2015, the museum has been part of the Network of Technical and Scientific Museums of the Lombardy Region.
The museum also collects and sorts the most important periodicals and volumes dedicated to cycling, which are stored in the specialised library available for consultation by scholars and enthusiasts, as well as a multimedia archive of over 100 films of historical cycling races, from the 1940s to the present day.
From time to time, events and temporary exhibitions are promoted and hosted, illustrating various aspects of the history, widespread practice and competitive activity related to cycling. Various types of events are also hosted, from corporate conventions to weddings, thanks to the versatility of the spaces.
The museum also has a shop, with the most significant cycling publications on the market, technical clothing and numerous gadgets, as well as a conference room, which is also available by appointment for corporate events. The museum is open from 1 March to 1 November
