MUSEO CIVICO DELLA STAMPA
includedLocated in the evocative rooms on the ground floor and, in part, on the first floor of the Liber Complex - Polo Culturale delle Orfane, the Civic Printing Museum of Mondovì allows the public to retrace the history of books and printing, two elements that have a strong identity for the city of Mondovì where, in 1472, the first date-stamped book printed in Piedmont using the movable type technique was produced. The new layout, completely renovated and inaugurated in 2022, combines tradition and innovation: multimedia installations, video projections, animations, interviews and 3D reconstructions dialogue with the civic collection of printing presses, one of the richest in Italy, in an immersive and dynamic itinerary, not only to visit, but to experience and discover. The layout is completed by a reproduction of the Belloni family printing house in Nizza Monferrato and two printing and graphics workshops, used throughout the year to host workshops and activities for schools, families and enthusiasts.
