MUSEO BORSALINO

The Borsalino Museum in Alessandria is a fascinating journey between past and present to discover the culture of the Italian hat. A series of three thematic areas crosses Palazzo Borsalino and unfolds a tale that originates in 1857 and arrives to the present day. The itinerary begins at Antica Casa, a multimedia installation that retraces the main stages in the history of the hat factory and explores its bond with the territory.

Manufacturing is the name of the area dedicated to hat production processes, where you can discover the techniques and secrets of Alexandria's craftsmen. Finally, we come to the Gallery section with more than 1,400 hats on display, organised in narrative paths that tell the story of Borsalino's creative dialogue with art, design, fashion and, of course, cinema, for an experience without equal in the world. The museum tour is entirely in Italian and English.
