Within the San Lorenzo Archaeological Museum is housed in what can be considered the heart of the city's archaeological collections.
Beyond 500 exhibits are presented along a thematic path divided into three sections.
The public space, where the monumental remains of a building possibly identifiable with the theatre, located at what is now Via Cesare Battisti, stand out.
The private space, documented by the rich domus of the Labyrinth in Via Cadolini, the Nymphaeum in Piazza Marconi and Via Colletta.
Le necropolis, with funerary monuments and precious grave goods.
Visitors can also enjoy an immersive experience thanks to an Oculus viewer, which allows one to virtually explore some of the rooms of the Nymphaeum Domus: the peristyle, the pantry and a refined bedroom.
The museum devotes special attention to the’accessibility, with teaching aids for the visually impaired and blind and materials easy to read and understand, designed to accompany everyone on their visit.
