MUSEO ALESSANDRI

Giaveno (TO)
included
The collection consists of 80 works by Maestro Alessandri (1927-2000), the result of a donation to the City of Giaveno.

The route proposed to visitors is chronological: from the paintings of his youth to those of his maturity. Furthermore, the spaces follow distinct painting cycles: Soffitta Macabra: 1944 - 1959; Le Bambole: 1959-1962; Bestie e Veneri Surfanta: 1962-1974; Quadri Pascal: 1970- 1980; I posti: 1982 - 1995; Hotel Surfanta: 1981-1995. The exhibition ends with a small gallery of engravings (etchings and woodcuts) and a symbolic reconstruction of the artist's atelier. Visitors have the opportunity to listen via QR Code to the interpretative reading of each work. They can read information on the panels provided or in the printed guide available in the museum.
