A journey through art, tradition and manufacturing excellence: The “L. Barni” Civic Museums in Vigevano offer a comprehensive journey of discovery into the cultural and productive identity of the city, divided into three complementary museums.
- The Civic Art Gallery presents a selection of works from the 16th to the 20th century, with a particular focus on local artists. The exhibition, organised chronologically and thematically, guides visitors through five centuries of local art history.
- The International Footwear Museum It houses a wide selection of footwear — mainly women's — arranged in chronological and thematic sections. It offers different levels of interpretation and shows the evolution of footwear up to the most innovative, original and imaginative creations.
- The Museum of Entrepreneurship in Vigevano tells the story of the city's craftsmanship and industry from the Middle Ages to the present day, highlighting the expertise of Vigevano's artisans and the central role of the footwear industry in the development of the area.
