MusAB – Museo Astronomico di Brera

The MusAB wants to answer the question What does the astronomer do?. The ancient instruments of the Observatory are displayed in the gallery in such a way as to illustrate, in sections, the different actions always performed by astronomers: observing, discovering, measuring, representing. The panels, which can be used without guides, lead the user to discover this fascinating discipline, rich in surprising links with the city and culture. Thanks to the MARSS (MusAB in Augmented Reality from Science to Society) project, financed by the Fondazione Cariplo, the Museum offers a visit mode based on Augmented Reality - usable via App - becoming unique in the national panorama.

The number of accesses is limited; reservation is strongly recommended (please pay attention to the different booking links during the week and at weekends).
