MUSA – MUSEO DI SALÒ
includedHoused in the impressive 16th-century complex of the former monastery and church of St Justine - once the seat of the Order of Somaschi Fathers - the MuSa offers a chronological journey through the identity of Salò. The exhibition is distinguished by its heterogeneous nature: from archaeological and historical-artistic evidence to sections dedicated to science and technology.
The spaces, masterfully restored by architect Giovanni Tortelli, The museum's exhibition, winding through the corridors overlooking the cloisters and spectacular mezzanines suspended over the nave of the church, offers unprecedented views of the lake. Since June 2023, the cultural offer has been further enriched with a large section dedicated to the complex period of the Republic of Salò, consolidating the museum as an indispensable place of national memory.
