Its headquarters combine a century-old furnace, one operational factory with its quarries and lush nature reserve. Through exhibition galleries, workshops and areas dedicated to relaxation, Munlab explores the inextricable link between clay, the local area and people.

Visitors are guided on a dynamic journey through past and present, discovering the stories of life and work related to the production of bricks and exploring the properties of the material through workshops and hands-on sessions.

The Ecomuseum promotes research into and the promotion of the local expertiseof the environmental regeneration of quarries and kilns, of the’terracotta architecture and the ceramic design. By actively involving the local community to encourage new, sustainable lifestyles, Munlab aims to be a vibrant meeting place, with a packed programme of events, nature walks and cultural festivals.
