The Ettore Fico Museum is located in via Cigna 114, in an urban area called Spina 4, currently at the centre of a vast redevelopment programme of a disused industrial area.Close to the Docks Dora, home to countless artists' studios, the MEF fits into a social context of great interest and multiethnic liveliness. The MEF proposes a cultural offer of an international nature through the realisation of exhibitions, cultural events, seminars, round tables and meetings, aimed at attracting a vast number of people interested in modern and contemporary art, without, however, excluding incursions into ancient art.The exhibition programme, through three annual thematic exhibitions, is articulated on several levels: the first is dedicated to monographic exhibitions of great masters or collective exhibitions of a historical and didactic nature; the second level to projects with contemporary artists who intervene directly in the museum spaces; the third level sees dialogue between different artistic disciplines (fashion, design, cinema, etc.).
