MEET DIGITAL CULTURE CENTRE

Set up with the support of Fondazione Cariplo, MEET is the only place in Italy where immersive physical and virtual learning experiences with digital content are possible. MEET has a permanent collection of Italian and international objects and videos documenting the evolution of digital imagery from the 1960s to the present day and offers an up-to-date programme of events and exhibitions to narrate the digital transformation in the contemporary world by opening up new perspectives. MEET is located in the Porta Venezia district inside a 1500 square metre building, redesigned to welcome people into the digital culture. The Immersive Room and the Theatre allow for continuous video projections on walls with unique effects, while all the other spaces host events, workshops or enjoyment of works in VR in turn. MEET's performances and exhibitions follow the evolution of cultural industries, performing and visual arts and the convergence with developments in new technologies.
