Turin (TO)
included
The MAcA is Europe's first museum entirely dedicated to environmental issues, designed to offer visitors the opportunity to experience first-hand and discuss the main environmental issues. The museum has interactivity as its main feature, developing original blends of didactics, spectacle and entertainment.

The MAcA is an interactive museum focused on environmental issues with routes designed to reflect, while having fun, on how we interact with the environment and how we can preserve it.
The Museum aims to develop knowledge of the mechanisms that govern the use of the resources necessary for human development, with particular reference to: water, energy, waste, food, and aims to monitor technological advances and the adoption of virtuous environmental behaviour by pursuing collaborations with the world of scientific research and the most innovative companies.
Involvement of the public is a fundamental part of this museum's mission: the educational offer enriched with new proposals modulated according to age group and a programme of workshop activities for the general public at weekends are its fundamental pillars.

In addition to this, there are frequent exchanges and collaboration with other cultural centres including festivals, museums, events and membership of ECSITE, Europe's leading network of science museums, which are key ingredients in ensuring a healthy circulation of ideas and best practices to and from citizens of all ages.
Without neglecting the pleasure of discovery, fun and play, fundamental ways of continuing to learn by confronting the somewhat complex themes on display at MAcA.
The museum offers exhibits, workshops, educational paths that encourage exploration and disseminate environmental culture, and is home to temporary exhibitions.
