LABORATORIO MUSEO TECNOLOGICAMENTE
includedThe Fondazione Natale Capellaro ETS- Laboratorio Museo Tecnologic@mente in Ivrea was set up with the aim of promoting awareness of Natale Capellaro's innovative genius, of Olivetti's values and more generally of technical-scientific culture.
The Fondazione Natale Capellaro ETS- Laboratorio-Museo Tecnologic@mente was opened in 2005 to provide a permanent museum exhibition with typewriters, mechanical calculators, Olivetti electronics and more, as well as the legendary Programma 101, the world's first desktop personal computer. The museum also offers a workshop area, recounting Olivetti's fascinating industrial history to all generations and with different languages. The educational area creates workshops aimed at schools and the new generations with STEAM paths, games, experiments and activities to learn the great Olivetti lesson: technology is a tool at the service of the individual, his sensitivity, his unique and unrepeatable nature. The new premises are located in the Unesco Core Zone of Ivrea Industrial City of the 20th century and can accommodate children and young people of all ages, with equipped classrooms, comfort spaces, a restoration workshop and multimedia classrooms.
