L’ ATLANTE DEI SUONI – LA CITTÀ DI CUMABÒ
includedThe Boves Sound Atlas is a didactic-museum route dedicated to music in the five continents. The route is an ideal continuation of the visit to La Fabbrica dei Suoni di Venasca and accompanies the visitor through the different musical cultures of the planet. In Boves, on the premises of the former Favole spinning mill, a scenographic display of strong emotional impact is set up using state-of-the-art technical equipment, making the visit unique and exciting. A spectacular take-off on board a plane marks the start of the journey that takes visitors on a tour of musical traditions around the world. The journey through the five continents starts in Africa, with the fast-paced rhythm of the drums, then moves on to Oceania, to discover primordial sounds and instruments, and again to America, where music is transformed into dance. We then move on to Asia to learn about the relationship between music and mysticism and experience the use of the pentatonic scale, before arriving in Europe, the cradle of classical music, where visitors test themselves conducting a symphony orchestra. The final stop is a typical Italian piazza, where the many traditional musics of our country can be heard and recognised.
