Touch, do, learn: a museum where you are the protagonist
Country of the stars and historical seat of the Astrophysical Observatory of Turin, Pino Torinese hosts Infini.to, an interactive Museum of Astronomy and Space, which houses a digital Planetarium, among the most advanced in Europe. The Museum is a modern Science Centre that hosts numerous installations designed to experience scientific content and explore astronomical themes. Space journeys to the Moon and future missions, simulations of gravity on Jupiter, manipulation of the magnetic field and walks among thousands of stars tracing the most recent cosmological discoveries are some of the activities.
Light and sounds from outer space accompany you from the first floors of the museum to mysterious places to discover true cosmic secrets. The visit to Infini.to begins at the entrance and continues down three floors, retracing man's adventure in discovering the Universe: a journey through planets, stars and black holes in search of the origins of the cosmos and the forces that govern it.
The beating heart of Infini.to is the Digital Planetarium. In this unique, high-tech environment, science puts on a show, staging exciting images. The Planetarium's programme varies throughout the year, its shows are periodically renewed through collaboration with major international planetaria and many of them are produced by the staff. Thanks to its Terrace on the Sky, it is possible to observe the wonders of the sky.
