GASC- Galleria d'Arte Sacra dei Contemporanei is a museum that brings together a unique collection of contemporary art works on religious subjects. The collection is housed in the 18th-century rooms of Villa Clerici and soon became a point of reference for artists who frequently met there to discuss and experiment with new themes and iconographies.

The GASC - Galleria d'Arte Sacra dei Contemporanei represents one of the most prestigious museum collections dedicated to sacred art in Italy. Located in the splendid 18th-century rooms of Villa Clerici in Milan, the GASC houses a collection of almost 3,000 works, including paintings, sculptures, drawings, ceramics, stained-glass windows and mosaics, created from the first half of the 20th century to the present day.

Founded in 1955, the GASC has always stood out for its mission to create a space for artists to meet and dialogue, united by the desire to interpret the themes of the Christian proclamation through contemporary artistic languages. Among the authors in the collection are masters of the calibre of Libero Andreotti, Angelo Biancini, Floriano Bodini, Felice Carena, Giacomo Manzù, Enrico Manfrini, Francesco Messina, Trento Longaretti, Kengiro Azuma, and many others.

Recognised as a museum collection by the Region of Lombardy and a member of the AMEI (Association of Italian Ecclesiastical Museums), the GASC promotes a full programme of cultural activities. Through its educational services, it offers numerous didactic and creative workshops aimed at schools, families and religious communities, strengthening its role as a point of reference for contemporary sacred art and the dialogue between faith and culture.
