The Gallerie d'Italia - Turin presents itself as a permanent workshop where photography and the visual arts explore today's complexity with multidisciplinary gazes: ever-changing experiences with visit routes accompanied by cutting-edge technology and immersive installations placed at the service of the narratives. Entrance is from Piazza San Carlo 156, through a grand staircase that leads visitors into the underground exhibition spaces. On the -1 floor are the teaching rooms overlooking the Hall of 300 dedicated to temporary exhibitions. On the second underground floor is the ticket office, which is the main communication and meeting place, the museum's junction point where the public can decide how to move around, choosing from a variety of visitor routes according to their interests. Floor 3 houses Intesa Sanpaolo's Publifoto Archive and the Multimedia Room, which offers a large immersive installation that, thanks to an advanced projection system, allows visitors to enjoy a 360-degree experience of the artists on show.The tour continues on the ground floor to the open cloisters, where the bookshop, café and restaurant are located, and then continues to the piano nobile where the permanent collection is on display, consisting of works from the 14th to 18th century selected from the Bank's collections in dialogue with the tasteful decorative features of the rooms, as well as the important 17th century pictorial cycle from the destroyed Oratory of the Compagnia di San Paolo, returned here to the public
