CIVICO MUSEO DIDATTICO DI SCIENZE NATURALI MARIO STRANI

The museum is housed in Villa Prever, an Art Nouveau building surrounded by a large park. The museum collection in the Villa houses several sections: mycological, entomological, botanical, mineralogical and zoological. The samples and specimens come mostly from the Pinerolo and Piedmont area. The visit begins in the immersive room, dedicated to fluorescent minerals, and then continues with the sections dedicated to nocturnal animals, the plains, the hills, the forest, the mushroom kingdom, aquatic environments, the mountains, and ends, on the upper floor of the Villa, with the viewing of an emotional video that will offer the visitor new food for thought on the relationship between human beings and the natural landscape that surrounds them.
