One of the rare medieval testimonies to Turin's historical centre, it has always been the seat of the Dominicans (the offices of the Inquisition were also located here). The Sala Cateriniana houses a drape in the centre of which is an 18th-century canvas depicting the Virgin holding the Shroud.
