Centro Uomini e lupi

The Visitor Centre, in Entracque village, with a route to discover myths and legends linked to the animal. The Fauna Area with its multimedia trail on the biology of the wolf. The visit ends on the turret facing a large enclosure that houses some animals no longer able to live in the wild.
The Centro Uomini e Lupi, even before providing answers, offers visitors the opportunity to deepen their knowledge of the wolf, its behaviour, and thus to have at their disposal all the necessary elements to construct a documented and informed opinion.
In the Entracque Visitor Centre, a storyteller's voice guides the visit. Listening to the stories told in the Tent of Fables, the Bicycle Workshop, the Portrait Gallery and the Grotto, a moral emerges that is only apparently obvious: the wolf is neither good nor bad.
The wildlife area comprises an enclosure of about eight hectares in which a few specimens of Canis lupus italicus are housed.
These are exclusively animals that could not live in the wild: either because they are victims of serious accidents, or because they have already been born in captivity.
