For more than three centuries, the 'Collège Saint-Bénin' nurtured local culture and formed the lay ruling class of the Aosta Valley.
Today, the Collegio's vast chapel, rebuilt from 1676 to 1680 next to the 12th-century Romanesque mullioned bell tower, is used as a prestigious venue for exhibitions of modern and contemporary national and international art.
