CASTELLO DELLA ROVERE

Vinovo (TO)
The castle was designed and subsequently built thanks to Cardinal Domenico Della Rovere in the late 1400s and is a rare example of Renaissance architecture in Piedmont.
Of particular note is the splendid cloister dated 1513/1515 with its terracotta decorations and recently discovered 16th-century frescoes attributed to the school of Pinturicchio.
From 1776 it became the seat of the Royal Porcelain Manufactory, strongly desired by Victor Amadeus III of Savoy.
The manor is crowned by a vast park embellished by an artificial pond and the auspicious statue of the Sower.
