included Comprising a nucleus of rural buildings of medieval origin, the Borgo del Maglio di Ome has two museum venues: the Maglio Averoldi museum, a 15th-century forge featuring a water wheel that still moves the mallet, and the Casa Museo Pietro Malossi, which houses the collection of the antiquarian of the same name.
La Pietro Malossi House Museum is housed in the house where Andrea Averoldi and Aldina Barbi, the last owners of the Maglio lived. It exhibits a diverse private collection of cultural goods: furniture, furnishings, paintings, engravings and exhibits of all kindsdated between the 15th century and the first half of the 20th century. The House Museum has been recognised as a Museum Collection since 2010.
One room of the museum is dedicated to Francesco Medicia friend of Pietro Malossi who created splendid engraved works, some of which were made with the mallet.
In addition to the permanent collection, a room in the museum periodically hosts temporary exhibitions.
