Consisting of the immense mass of the ancient Savoy archives and the historical documents produced by the peripheral offices of the Italian State in the province of Turin, the Turin State Archives represent an inexhaustible source of information for the reconstruction of the history of Piedmont, Italy and Europe from the 8th century to the present day and a reliable custodian of the administrative memory for the protection of citizens' rights.
