Art Museum
ADI DESIGN MUSEUM

It is a dynamic museum and cultural centre oriented towards contemporaneity and research, with the aim of playing an active role in the global museum network. A place capable of transcending the traditional boundaries of cultural centres, opening up to the complexity of the globalised world and creating connections between design, business, fashion, architecture, art, science and technology.
Situated in Piazza Compasso d'Oro, between the Garibaldi, Sarpi and Cimitero Monumentale areas, the museum is located in a former industrial area of high architectural and urban planning value, recently involved in a major urban redevelopment project. The ADI Design Museum is fully integrated into the urban and cultural fabric of the city.
Thanks to a narrative and inclusive approach, the museum appeals to a wide and diverse audience: not only experts and enthusiasts, but also those approaching the world of design for the first time. The content is designed to be accessible and stimulating, offering an engaging and participatory cultural experience.
The museum is cashless: tickets can only be purchased electronically, online or directly at the ticket office.
The experience is enriched by the presence of cultural mediators specially trained in the content of the exhibitions. Moreover, the museum is also a freely traversable city place: the inner gallery connects Via Ceresio to Via Bramante and is a meeting and aggregation space. It houses a bistro, open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a bookshop of the Treccani publishing house, with an interesting editorial selection dedicated to design, architecture, art, travel and culture.
