The Body of the City – A period self-portrait in oil pastel
After a brief tour of the exhibition Turin. The body of the city, participants will be invited to ‘wear’, through their drawings, one of the historical costumes on display.
Guided by a master painter, they will create their own period self-portrait using oil pastels, becoming the subjects of a portrait that captures not only a face, but an identity, an era and the spirit of a city undergoing transformation, in an immersive experience that combines art, fashion and history.

- Oil pastels (recommended: Gallery oil pastels, pack of 24, or Sennelier portrait oil pastels, pack of 24, or similar)
- CANSON card, rough or semi-rough, approx. 25×50 cm (colour of the participant’s choice. Recommended: a colour in shades of taupe or grey, not white or too light)

White for Women – Embroider your own handkerchief
Taking inspiration from the exquisite embroidery on display in the ‘Bianco al femminile’ exhibition, each participant will be able to personalise their own handkerchief, making it unique with their own initials.
A simple, personal touch that combines the tradition of embroidery with a personal signature, transforming an everyday object into a small work of art.
