The season has officially begun for “Summer at the Planetarium” signed Infini.to - Museum of Astronomy and Space, a packed programme of events designed to introduce young and old alike to the deepest secrets of the Universe.

From July onwards and throughout the summer, the science centre in Pino Torinese will be expanding its programme with a special line-up that combines science, entertainment and wonder under the starry sky.

Shows at the Planetarium and activities for children

The heart of the summer experience remains the Digital Planetarium, where visitors can enjoy screenings and immersive shows that simulate journeys to the far reaches of time and space. The much-loved format is back for young children and their families “A Space for Children”: a programme featuring STEM workshops and interactive activities designed to spark young people’s scientific curiosity in a fun and exciting way.

However, the real magic of summer at Infini.to comes to life at sunset. Thanks to the special evening opening hours, the public can explore the interactive exhibits at the Astronomy Museum at their leisure during the most magical hours of the day, before being enchanted by the beauty of the night sky under the guidance of experts.

Cinema and Observations (the great summer classics)

As is traditional during the warmer months, there will be the much-anticipated stargazing evenings held directly on the museum’s terrace, as well as the programme “Cinema under the stars”, which combines great classics and animated films with a science fiction and space theme with the sight of the summer sky.
