A September of art and creativity at the Albertina Art Gallery

In September, beauty is back in the spotlight! In the charming and welcoming rooms of the Albertina Art Gallery in Turin, the practical drawing and painting courses and workshops for adults are back – aimed at both beginners and enthusiasts who wish to refine their technique.

Under the guidance of master painters and drawing direct inspiration from the masterpieces in the Pinacoteca and the selected iconographic material, you’ll have the chance to put your skills to the test in small groups (maximum 6 participants per workshop) for an intimate and personalised learning experience.

🎨 Watercolour Painting Workshop

Discover the art of transparency, colour selection and the use of suitable supports and brushes.

• Duration: 9 hours in total (3 sessions of 3 hours each).

  • Sunday Option: 13, 20 and 27 September (from 10.00 to 13.00)
  • Monday option: 14, 21 and 28 September (from 10.00 to 13.00)

🖌️ Oil Painting Workshop

Learn more about the glazing technique, and how to prepare your palette and supports.

• Duration: 12 hours in total (3 sessions of 4 hours each).

  • Monday option: 14, 21 and 28 September (from 2.00 pm to 6.00 pm)

✏️ The Three Pencils Workshop (Three Pencils)

Learn the historic technique that was popular between the 17th and 18th centuries and create evocative portraits using red chalk, charcoal and white pencil.

🖍️ Pastel workshop

A course dedicated to portraiture using oil pastels, designed to teach colour-mixing techniques and the most suitable surfaces. Also suitable for beginners.

✏️ Charcoal Drawing Workshop
