Fourth Resonance

With the FOURTH RESONANCE GAM in Turin continues its investigation into the languages of art, exploring the themes of drawing, sign and stroke, essential forms of research through which each artist authentically notes visions and elaborates studies. The paper becomes the privileged material of these practices, configuring itself as an experimental space in which full expressive freedom can be exercised. In this context, sign and stroke are charged with an immediate and spontaneous value, restoring the most direct and vital dimension of the artistic gesture.

Within this framework is the exhibition Another 20th century. Works on Paper from the GAM Collections, which brings together for the first time the 20th century works on paper in the Collection. Within the exhibition we find the Intruder of this Resonance, the Roman artist Khete fish. Using the paper medium and a combination of techniques between drawing and painting, it will establish a dialogue with the museum's graphic collections. The scratched sign that becomes drawing in the research of Vincenzo Agnetti will be presented in the exhibition Today is a century dedicated to the centenary of his birth and his experimental research on the medium of photography. Finally, in the spaces of the Collection both the project Lisetta Carmi. Eroticism and authoritarianism at Staglieno which brings together 15 photographs that became part of the Collection thanks to the awarding of the Photography Strategy 2025, both a room dedicated to the Master Giorgio Griffa to celebrate its 90th birthday.
