Royal Museums – The Lenci Collection Reopens
Featuring a new layout and multimedia content
On the third floor of the Galleria Sabauda, at the Royal Museums of Turin, the prestigious [name] reopens to the public Lenci Collection with a completely revamped exhibition, free to visit for holders of Museum Subscription.
The Lenci Collection and the latest additions to the exhibition
The collection includes 132 extremely rare historical ceramics produced by the Turin-based manufacturer between 1928 and 1936, and donated to the Royal Museums in 2022 by Giuseppe and Gabriella Ferrero.
The exhibition is divided into eight thematic sections (ranging from the image of women to myths, and from masks to animals) and is now enhanced by:
- New teaching materials and interactive videos dedicated to ceramic-making techniques (such as the slip-casting technique).
- Multimedia content and texts in English for an even more in-depth and international visitor experience.
- A dialogue with the 20th-century Turin paintings and sculptures housed in the Royal Museums.
