KIN 金 – Gold in Japanese arts
Activities surrounding the exhibition
News published on 5 December 2025
The MegaMuseum in Aosta presents KIN 金 – Gold in Japanese arts, a fascinating journey through the beauty, symbolism and techniques of gold in Japanese artistic tradition. The exhibition, organised under the patronage of the Consulate General of Japan in Milan and curated by iamatologist Roberta Vergagni, showcases artefacts from the 15th century to the present day, exploring gold as light, material and culture.
Three thematic sections guide visitors through aesthetics, ancient knowledge and contemporary reflections.
🟡 The exhibition is included in the museum admission ticket.
December is also enriched with many special initiatives: meetings, workshops, activities for families and events dedicated to the Christmas period. Here is the complete programme.
