Egyptian Enchantment is a concert series celebrating the bicentenary of the Egyptian Museum in Turin, offering a musical journey across centuries and cultures. The initiative, curated by Music Systembrings together the city's most important musical institutions, offering a series of 13 appointments ranging from ancient and classical music to jazz, from opera to new compositions created for the occasion. The protagonists include some of the best orchestras, choirs and ensembles on the Turin scene, with the aim of fusing the history of ancient Egypt with contemporary arts.
The review, which will take place between October and Decemberwill see performances by, among others, theTurin Philharmonic Orchestra, l'Academia Montis Regalis and theStefano Tempia Choral Academy. Concerts will be accompanied by dance performances, light design and readings, further enriching the cultural experience.
Egyptian Enchantment represents a unique opportunity to reflect on the link between past and present, with an eye on the future of the arts.
