The MAR turns 21!

The Aosta Regional Archaeological Museum celebrates its 21st birthday with a double event for young and old!

📅 Sunday 19 October, at 15the adult public can participate in the special guided tour Mundus patet. World above and world belowan itinerary through the museum rooms and the underground archaeological site to discover the ancient Roman recurrence of the Mundus patetwhen the door to the afterlife was believed to open to allow dialogue between the world of the living and the dead.

At the same time, children from 5 to 11 years can take part in the creative workshop Upside downto explore a mysterious world where the sky turns upside down and the earth reveals ancient secrets. During the activity, the young participants will model with clay their own personal lanternsymbol of light and knowledge.
