Contemporary Day in Valle d'Aosta

Saturday 4 October 2025 the Aosta Valley celebrates the Contemporary Day, the national event promoted by AMACI to enhance today's art.
The public can experience a rich programme of events at three venues:
- Regional Archaeological Museum - Aosta
5 p.m.Guided tour of the exhibition for adults The Other Picasso. Return to the origins and, in parallel, creative workshop for children (6-11 years)who will be able to reinterpret the brilliant universe of Pablo Picasso by making their own personal creation. - Saint-Bénin Centre - Aosta
11 o'clock: free admission at the exhibition Brassaï. The Eye of Paris and guided tour (for a fee) conducted by Daria Joriozcurator and director, to discover the enchantment of 1930s Paris through the photographs of the great master. - Gamba Castle - Châtillon
3 p.m.: special meeting with the artist Giuliana Cunéazwhich will present the latest three acquisitions in the museum's collection. Simultaneously, a workshop for children (6-11 years) will allow children to explore contemporary art through activities inspired by the works on display.
A day that combines exhibitions, guided tours, meetings with artists and family workshops, making contemporary art accessible to all ages.
