Ephemeral 2026
The Racconigi Castle Park reopens between art, nature and magic
News published l'8 April 2026
The Racconigi Castle Park shines again with EFFIMERA, the cultural event that since 6 April to 11 October 2026 will transform the Margaria Complex into an open-air stage. A journey of 22 days between shows, cinema, workshops and nature visits, designed to make the park not only a tourist destination, but a space to be inhabited in every season.
An extraordinary opening: La Margaria and the Secret Gardens
For the occasion, visitors will have access to areas normally closed to the public, such as the Margaria Complex (a European neo-Gothic jewel), the Royal Greenhouses and the Princes' Garden. A unique opportunity to discover the architectural and landscape heritage of Savoy through a programme rich in different languages.
Highlights of the programme
The festival interweaves performing arts, science and entertainment for all ages:
- Performing Arts and Theatre: Contemporary circus shows dedicated to Puccini's heroines (I do not wear, 24 May and 13 September) and Shakespearean plays such as Bottom's dream (28 June).
- Cinema and Stars Under the Sky: Outdoor screenings of masterpieces such as The Artist e The rules of chaos , as well as guided astronomical observation evenings from the Planetarium of Turin (20 June). All evening events are preceded by a aperitif in the courtyard of the Greenhouses.
- Music of Plants: On the occasion of Music Day (21 June), a unique jazz concert where the sounds will be co-created by the plants themselves in the Park.
- Family activities: From the puppet workshops of the Grilli Foundation treasure hunts with margaro Tunin and visits with assistant gardener Rosina.
- Nature and Picnic: Nature tours with the Royal Residences' agronomist ending with a picnic basket in the Princes' Garden.
