At the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan lands Bacchanal, the monumental theatre set designed by Salvador Dalí in 1939 for the ballet of the same name, and presented for the first time in Italy.
The work will be unveiled in press preview tomorrow, Tuesday 11 November, at 12 noon, as an integral part of the exhibition The Big Three of Spain: three visions, one legacypromoted by the Municipality of Milan and produced by Navigare Srl.
The exhibition offers a journey into the imagery and poetics of three giants of 20th century art - Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró and Salvador Dalí - offering a visual and conceptual dialogue between their works and the cultural revolutions that shaped Europe in the last century.
